If you like Underoath, Thrice, Beloved, Saosin, Dead Poetic, or Alexisonfire then you might like us. :o) Saint Lucia was a torchered martyr from 303 AD who, after refusing to marry her pagan betrothed, was senteced to prostitute herself at the brothel. After refusing her punishment she was stabbed in the throat and had her eyes gouged out. A charming story to say the least, but it has nothing to do with why we named the band after her. Lucia means 'bringer of light'. I guess you could say we want to bring to light the music and the message that we have, both of which still remain in relative obscurity in the Australian music market.
