I received my first guitar for my 7th birthday, and I've been playing it ever since. I began learning drums when I was 12, and by the time I was 14 I was writing songs with my brother Joel, and school friend Thomas Whalan, a promising singer/songwriter who I also play guitar for. I love to listen to independent artists on Triple J and gain much inspiration from them.
