Artist:Samurai Black

Samurai Black are... two random drifting self-taught musicians held together by the amazing Megan. A superb rhythm section articulated by the experimental antics of Trent. And some people plucking strings who wouldn't know what they were doing without Anna. Luckily we all have the same sense of humour. Samurai Black was formed when Trent and Megan got together and started writing songs, making a few recordings of just guitar and bass. In about July 2005, Anna entered the infamous lounge room, and couldn't keep her hands or feet still. We began by finnessing the songs already put together by Trent and Megan, in order to play our first set at Vic on the Park in December last year. Since then, we've been writing heavier, more progressive music that is still firmly based in the sort of 90s rock sound we work from.
