Artist:The Saucermen

The Saucermen have been playing their brand of modern rockabilly around Adelaide for over a decade now. Their sound is influenced by the bands appreciation of the Meteors, Johnny Burnette, Cramps, Eddy Cochran, 50s rock, English Psychobilly, American Style and Australian Sound.Gretsch guitar, slick drums, slap bass and howlin' vocals combine to produce the Saucermen sound. Three local, (Adelaide) releases including "Valley of the Rattlin' Bones EP" (2004), "Gravy Train EP" (2006) and recently "Dead Man's Hand CD" in 2010 have been greeted with much crowd enthusiasm in venues all over Adelaide. The original music found on these recordings stem from the creative collaboration of Steve O'Malley and Chris Hayne and their love of all things Rockabilly and Roots, Sci Fi, horror and kustom kulture.
