Bio

The Saxons are a four piece indie rock band from Launceston, Tas. Following the release of their debut EP 'Be Rad, Not Sad' in 2015, the band have shared the stage with some major Australian touring acts such as Kingswood, British India, Slowly Slowly and Luca Brasi, as well as dipping their feet in the musical waters of mainland Australia to launch their single 'Kicking the Habit'.
The Saxons have scored slots at major Tasmanian Festivals, the most prominent being a main stage appearance at Falls Festival in 2016. They have appeared at the Northern Tasmanian Festival Party in the Paddock on several occasions including 2018 and 2019.
With their first full-length record released in February 2018, The Saxons are looking forward to sharing their songs with a wider audience and having a bloody good time while doing so.

Sup, Launceston! The Sleepyheads gave me a tip-off about you and they were right. You're great songwriters!
