After impressing across Australia supporting sold-out Clowns shows and tearing to bits classic venues like The Tote, Public Bar and Cherry Bar, plus recently setting history as the first punk rock band in RTRFM's The View From Here video series, Scalphunter are ready to launch their next single. Premiered by Pilerats today, Best Of Me is perhaps their most intense yet, is available here for free and is being launched with two massive shows with a difference...

Recent singles Keepers Of The Night and Bleeding Out received triple j and strong community radio airplay, and the likes of Tone Deaf describing the tracks as "ear splitting..the headiest, most exciting releases to come from the four piece yet." The most nominated punk/rock band in the most recent WA Music Awards, Scalphunter's Best Of Me is their next single recorded by Adam Round (POND, Voyager, The Floors, Timothy Nelson and The Infidels, The Growl and Tame Impala), this new relationship allowing their live prowess to be injected into the recording with lightning bolt ferocity.

Previously winning WA's biggest live band comp The Big Splash and named by Blunt Magazine as one of their yearly 20 Bands To Watch, they've staged blistering performances at festivals such as Beaufort St Festival, RTRFM's In The Pines and Hyperfest and impressed the likes of The Mark Of Cain, The Datsuns, High On Fire, Municipal Waste, Black Cobra, Jucifer, The Subhumans, Gay Paris, Dead City Ruins, Clowns and more as supports.

With a huge love for community radio, they've teamed up with RTRFM's Radiothon Party next weekend to officially launch their single in Perth, then follow this up with a stupendously huge Sunday show with east coast future besties Super Best Friends, as part of their All My Friends Are Leaving Tour. These will also be the last shows before enigmatic frontman Stevie Goodlooks takes a hiatus to enter the world of Daddylooks. In other words, don't miss these shows!
