Bio

Named after the iconic roguish stage character, Scaramouche, originally forming in Canberra in 2008, is a rock band based in Melbourne, Australia. Scaramouche have crafted a fresh, dynamic and appealing sound shaped by rich and unique compositions delivered with a staunch rock attitude. Pat Little, Leigh Barker, Grey Milton and John Milton present an exhilarating live show of sweat-drenching energy charged with hair-raising vocals, wailing guitar, driving precise bass and groove-laden drums. NEWS: Scaramouche are embarking on another tour up the East Coast of Australia and it's happening in June / July this year! The plan is being super-polished and fleshed-out as we speak... it will find a 12-seater tour bus transporting Scaramouche to 15+ shows in just a few weeks! A song that clocks in at six minutes could easily be self-indulgent in lesser hands but this fast-paced riff-rocker still has plenty of twists and turns at the three minute mark when most other bands would be trying to work out how to wrap things up. These guys know how to play their instruments and they know how to think their way through a riff. The guitar and drum synergy in the solo could trick you into thinking it was these two that were the brothers in the band. With the vocal track having all the undertones of a jackal howling for your blood this is a band well worth discovering.
