Bio

From humble beginnings in a Northern Suburbs garage of the most isolated city in the world (Perth, Western Australia), Scarlet Drive has grown to be bigger than any of us could have ever imagined. Drawn together by a shared passion for Alternative Rock (ala RHCP, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes) the band has become a firm fixture in Perth’s live music scene.

Blending the weird and whacky in elements of punk, funk and reggae - the band quickly carved their own sonic niche and unique brand of notorious show shenanigans. Kicking off with their debut EP ‘Echoes of Apprehension’ in 2017, the band quickly climbed charts across Australia, South Africa and the US with acclaimed singles ‘Sad Robot’ and ‘Ceto’.

Fast forward a few years and the band’s been around a bit more than the block, with nine new single releases, multiple award nominations and a national tour under their belt, the group continues to deliver their soaring party tunes of yesteryear, crafting nostalgic anthems with the youthful vigour and freshness of love they share with their listeners.

“Scarlet Drive are, currently, music’s best cooks - adding, mixing and seasoning the varieties of ska, reggae and punk” - AAA Backstage

“Perth four piece Scarlet Drive are enjoyably difficult to pin down genre-wise, with an explosive blend of punk, rock, funk reggae and more” - Pilerats

Scarlet Drive is Michael Millimaci (Vocals/Guitar), Michael Madafferi (Guitar), Sebastian Fazzari (Bass) and Conor Warrilow (Drums).
