Scarlet Klimek (born 20 December 1988), is a Australian singer-songwriter. Klimek has released two singles, "I Love You (I Know It Sounds Cliche)" and "Don't Talk Dirty". Klimek is the daughter of Australian musician Alfons "Alf" Klimek, niece of Australian film and television composer, Johnny Klimek, Australian singer-songwriter Jayney Klimek and cousin of Nic and Chris Cester from Australian band, Jet. Born in Berlin, Germany, Klimek began singing from a young age appearing vocally with younger brother Phillip on a variety of soundtracks to popular german children's story-franchise Laura's Star (Laura's Stern), as well as voicing the character of 'Abby The Cat' to a soundtrack of popular children's book-franchise Rip Squeak. At age 12 Klimek relocated from Berlin, Germany to her father's hometown of Melbourne, Australia where she attended Sandringham Secondary College located in Melbourne's southeastern suburbs.
