Bio

SCK CHX are a 3 piece whose music looks to find a shared space between thrashy punk and introspective meditative shoe gaze in order to take listeners on a journey through emotional states from deep thought to anarchic aggression.

Their live set has gained strong momentum due to the non stop hypnotic pace and ability to draw audiences into a reflective state and then spit them out feeling invigorated and filled with euphoria. The trio have played alongside numerous local and interstate acts including the Ruminaters & West Thebarton.

With three singles already released from the band including: 'Don't Wanna Go Home', 'Stuck in the Mud,' & 'Spinning Around' all of which received plays on Triple J and community stations such as FBI radio and 2ser, their upcoming debut EP Downward Dog is set to melt minds when it drops on the 6th of April 2018. It will be available for preorder on digital stores from the 9th of March.

Their debut EP looks to uncover a coexistence between the worlds of punk music and mindfulness and meditation. It is a reflective set of songs that take you through moments of deep thought, as well as feelings of letting loose and not caring about what is going on around you.

another mad release from sck chx. it fuses that dreamy surf punk blend with a serious kick. a cup of tea with a chilli hit perhaps. maybe not.

This band continues to impress with each release. Like the extra toppings that they've splashed on this track like that little acoustic strum - it's the full package.
