At Sea formed in October 2007 and over the last year have quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting new bands on the Brisbane scene. Drawing inspiration from Murder Ballads, Swamp Rock and 60’s pop and lacing it with the venomous devil may care attitude usually reserved for garage rock, the band allow each song to forge its own unique identity while still maintaining a distinct At Sea sound. This approach to song-writing has seen At Sea share the stage with a diverse range of local and interstate acts such as The Gin Club, The Kill Devil Hills, Midnight Woolf, The Wreckery, Sailors and Swine, as well as a spot on the 2008 Valley Fiesta.
