Seattle Fix began as the solo creative outlet for Olivia when she was still in high school. From the very beginning she recognised the music as a therapeutic experience and quickly wrote a large collection of songs. Her sound evolved as she began taking the stage with her contemporaries.
It was in 2013 that Luke saw Liv playing at a battle of the bands event. Funnily enough, he recognised her from a party he went to when he was 16. After seeing her play and win the competition he thought: she's alright. Once his previous band dissolved he timidly asked if she knew of any bands looking for a drummer, secretly wanting to play for Sf.
Seattle Fix then spent time playing many tiny shows, experimenting with an upbeat indie rock feel. After an extended period of writing Sf released First EP in 2016, not before a lineup change forced the pair to rework the live material. It was during this time that the pair began writing the songs that appear on Teddy Bear, their sophomore EP, released in September of 2017. In March of this year the pair released their latest single, 'Stone,' engineered and produced with the help of Damien King Charles (Gotye, Hiatus Kaiyote).
Over time the sound has evolved and mellowed into a lush landscape, fuller and darker. 2018 will bring yet more new music as the pair knuckle down to write and record.
