Just one year ago SECRETIVE GEORGE blew into the Melbourne live music scene in a frenzied cyclone of glitter and decadent costumes. In that time they have consumed four guitarists, three drummers, four bassists and have travelled the yellow brick road of indie rock, from folk-tronica, all the way through to kraut inspired pop tunes. In their first year the secretive ones have played with the likes of recent jjj unearthed winner SNAKADAKTAL, as well as UK popstars FRAKIE & THE HEARTSTRINGS and 8 BIT LOVE. They’ve graced the stages of the Ding Dong Lounge, The Evelyn Hotel and The Workers Club. With a solid lineup now secured they are planning a brief East Coast tour in January before crossing the ditch for a three-week New Zealand tour in February.
