Bio

Sekkt is the devilish concoction of siblings Pavel, Lenky & Matija - a mix of electronica, pop, jazz, classical and world music. And on stage, Sekkt blends the best of the digital with live instruments. Little over one year old, Sekkt has just come back to Oz after a European tour of Germany France, Spain and Portugal. Sekkt's first release in 2012 ('First Light') rocketed up the Juno bestseller chart and got to #3, alongside Groove Armada, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Paul Kalkbrenner. In August 2012, Sekkt was a featured artist on DW Radio, Germany's international broadcaster. Sekkt has also notched up performances at 3 of Australia's biggest electronic music festivals - Rainbow Serpent, Maitreya and Shine On. With performances at the Melbourne Fashion Festival and Melbourne clubs and bars, Sekkt is an up-and-comer not to be missed.

Sekkt have shown us that a dance track doesn't need a massive drop or breakdown to have an amazing groove. Could dance to this all night. The horns make for a beautiful ambience that carry the electronic elements of the track. Simple yet effective drums and perfectly mastered. Hope to hear more guys!
