Artist:Semester

Semester are a 4 Piece Australian band who have taken the melodic tones and self-aware, vulnerable lyrics of 90’s and 00’s emo music and paired it with energetic, sing-a-long hooks to make extremely catchy punk tunes. The band is fronted by singer-songwriter Zac Hutchings who has spent 10 years honing his craft in songwriting from all genres of rock music from acoustic to indie and now onto punk. His casting as a lead character in a high school musical gave him the taste and excitement of performing that he has never let go of, it also makes him think he is super cool. On lead guitar is Gerard Settgast, a technically gifted guitarist who got his start in hardcore and metalcore bands, now swapping the messy distortion for clean ambient tones. G’s ADD tendencies make him an incredible live guitarist.
