Bio

Four piece dream pop outfit Sesame Girl contrast joyous melodies with somber themes to create their hard hitting pop.
After forming at the beginning of 2020, the band shared the stage with the likes of Dz Deathrays, Spacey Jane and Moaning Lisa within a matter of months, additionally selling out multiple headline shows. Influenced by both 90s and 80s alt- rock, and the work of Beach House, Clairo and Soccer Mommy: the band explores themes of heartache, mental health and the loss of adolescence through energetic riffs and dreamy vocals.

Coming from a diy background of bedroom pop, the bands first studio endeavour is a 5 track ep recorded with producer Fletcher Matthews (Dear Seattle, CLEWS, Sweater Curse) in the later months of 2020. With their debut single to be released 2021; followed by their debut ep, Sesame Girl is an act to follow.

Are you Criss Angel because this song is magic (and also a little bit fancy).

Gorgeous layered sound and those vocals melt right into it all. Divine energy and it's so lovely to hear from you. Excited to hear more too.
