Shapes Like Rapids are a 4 piece stoner garage rock band from Melbourne Australia. Founded early 2018 in attempt to use all there toys and have fun, the line-up includes Nath (From The Ramshackle Army, The Big Southern, and previously The Morrisons and Sky Watch Traffic) on guitar and vocals, James (From The Ramshackle Army, The Old Couple, and previously Cat Gut Marry) on bass, Oakie (Previously from Bruntasurus, Crak and Pan) on the hitting and the kicking, and Dalton (Previously from Canyon) on the shredding axe hero soul melting. Shapes Like Rapids have been playing there full energy shows across Melbourne and will be releasing their first EP ‘Shapes Like Rapids’ (self-titled) mid 2019, with the intent of touring both the island of mainland Australia, the other Islands in local proximity to its edges, and also further abroad.
