Artist:The Shaykes

The Shaykes are a five piece indie-rock outfit from the Central Coast, NSW. The band have been impressing crowds with their distinctive blend of high energy garage rock, and vintage rock and roll, since forming in 2014. The Shaykes are a product of the intense collaboration between charismatic front-man Matty Dalcol, and skilled guitarist Matt Stalgis. Working tirelessly with veteran music producer Matt O'Connor, The Shaykes have developed a fresh style of music. Matty D's promiscuous lyrics and Matt's catchy guitar lines are enhanced by the exceptional talents of Dan Kennedy on drums, Lint Gannon on bass, and Sal Cordero on keys. The Shaykes have already played to large crowds at The Oxford Art Factory, World Bar, and Spectrum. They are expected to draw big numbers to the release of their debut single 'Catch Me If You Can' at The Oxford Art Factory later this year.
