Shearin’ are a band consisting of lads from the Inner West of Sydney. The bands music romantically transcribes a utopia from a distant dream on an outback summers day. It evokes the smell of rain as it hits the tin. Sounds from a lone hills hoist squeaking in the wind or a solitary fly encircling in sync with the ceiling fan. Tempos from the sweat bead that gathers pace as it rolls down your face. The songs explore a time when TV was cool and backyard pool parties were the norm. It critiques local culture, politics and a city goin down the gurgler.....This is the language they speak, to the untold generation they play.
