There are things that are certain. There are things that are……… Uncertain. And then there is The Shivering Indies. Since forming in late 2007, this Newcastle Alt. Punk 5 piece has waged war on dull moments everywhere, touring relentlessly since the release of debut E.P “Adventures & Escapades” and showing no chance of slowing down with follow up effort “Red”. The bands hyperactive live show has seen them share stages with Hoodoo Gurus, Calling All Cars, Shortstack, Urthboy and Blue Juice to name just a few. Last year saw the band go through 4 back-up guitars in 1 show in Geelong, play on each others shoulders in Armidale, forget how to play on each others shoulders in Newcastle and commandeer tables, chairs, bars and innocent bystanders in the 50+ shows these guys knocked out up and down the east coast.
