Bio

Shy Panther is a 5-piece band based in Perth, Western Australia. Their debut EP Dozen Clouds Wide was released in 2012 to critical acclaim. On the back of this release, they joined Abbe May on a national tour, played festival slots at Groovin the Moo & Parklife, as well as supporting the likes of Nick Murphy aka Chet Faker, and more recently Jordan Rakei. Debut album "Intermissions" out June 15.

If you're into Winston Surfshirt, you might like this! Slinky instrumental and sublime vocal work. Those high notes are a real charm. I feel like I'm moving through some sort of worm-hole. Nice.

Just like dipping a french fry into a soft serve, the combination of muted vocals and airy chord progression are perfect. Really digging the jazzy vibe this tune gives off - you don't see that a lot these days so I'm totally eating it up. I feel as if this could be a James Bond opening titles backing track a couple years in the future. Can't wait for your next album.
