Bio

A swirl of soaring guitars, searing vocals and a stoic rhythm section, this band play it their way. Born and bred in Melbourne, Sienna Wild is Louis Goutos (bass and vocals), Jonathan Giokas (lead guitar), Lewis Ciavarella (rhythm guitar and vocals) and Lucas Manitta (drums and vocals).

The last few years have seen the band play a string of blistering headline shows and residencies, rapidly growing a loyal fanbase and filling famous Melbourne venues the likes of Whole Lotta Love, The Workers Club and The Grace Darling.

In 2018 the band took their song writing and studio craft to the next level, teaming up with guitar virtuoso and killer producer, Holy Holy’s Oscar Dawson. This proved a match made in heaven, resulting in a collection of powerful new songs, marking a more dynamic and distinct evolution in musical direction of the band.

The first of these tracks, ‘Falling Apart’, was released in March 2019, with follow up track ‘You Wouldn’t Know’ released on December 2, 2019, and premiered by Music Feeds. The release was supported by a multi-city tour, with the band filling rooms in Sydney, Adelaide, and Brisbane and selling out their hometown show in Melbourne in January 2020. The band released the third track, ‘Banging on the Door’ amidst all the chaos of the COVID-19 lockdown in early May.

In the second half of 2020, the band took stock and got to work, recording new demos whilst in lockdown, honing their song writing craft and musicality in preparation for their next studio adventure. Following the lifting of restrictions in December 2020 and January 2021, the band rose from the ashes, returning to their favourite Melbourne venue to play a string of sold out shows at the Workers Club. Armed with new songs and a fresh new sound, the band teamed up with hot Melbourne producer and long-time friend, Phil Threlfall, Sienna Wild hit the famous Base Studios to record their new EP to be released Mid – 2021.

Stay tuned – you don’t want to miss this!

Got that classic feeling to it but the production's updated with modern touches. A real best of both worlds moment right here!
