Artist:silvereye

An organic blend of ambient electronica with nylon string acoustic guitar and earthy layered vocals, 'silvereye' is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist/producer andrew smyth. When he's not out wandering in the dark and lonely mountain ranges of southern Tasmania, silvereye is buried in his own private home studio in the huon valley, from where he sends forth sparkling droplets of musical melancholy. silvereye’s self-produced independent debut ep ‘a man without wings’ is out now and available direct from andrew (contact via email), with half of all proceeds going directly to the university of tasmania ‘save the tasmanian devil appeal’ (see www.tassiedevil.com.au for details)
