Artist:The Simon Wright Band

Blues inspired urban soul. Brought up in Byron Bay now based in Melbourne. In Feb of 2010 Simon Wright put a band together for the final of a song writing competition in which they took out first place. The band consisted of Shane Evans on Drums (Engine Three Seven, Shadowgame) and Nick Ohlson on Bass (Ghost Orkid, Marshal and the Fro). This was the unofficial beginning of The Simon Wright Band. May 2012 saw them recording for the first time after winning studio time in a battle of the bands. The result "Live at 52" is available for purchase now at all major online music stores. The leading track "Music" went on to become a finalist in this years National Catapult Song Contest and Telstra's Road To Discovery. Upcoming Shows: Fri September 6th Bahas in Rye.
