Artist:The Sips

The Sips are a four piece basketball rock band that listens to records by bands such as The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Weezer, Ramones, The Queers, Ween, Custard and Eat Laser Scumbag. They then stroll into the rehearsal room, drink some Golden Circle carbonated beverages, and try to write and play songs in a similar style. Now the fact that they fail miserably shouldn’t really matter here, what does matter is that The Sips play loud basketball rock and have a hell of a good time doing it. People seem to have a good time watching it as well and the fact that there are always plenty of nice cold beers to be had just sweetens the deal. The Sips have enjoyed playing with some fantastic bands since forming in 2005, including (but not limited to) The Queers (USA), Sekiden, Spod, Mach Pelican, Eat Laser Scumbag, Vegas Kings, No Through Road, Violent Soho and about a million others.
