Hey, what's up? This is Sir Tilly, she's 17 and never learnt how to read music. She sings and has taught herself to play basic guitar and piano, some of which feature in her recordings. Growing up on a musical cocktail laced with Missy Higgins, the Wiggles, ABBA, Paul Kelly, Adele, Powder Finger and Queen (yes, it’s a long list), Sir Tilly always has multiple songs swirling around in her head. Along with those songs that trigger nostalgia, newly acquired tastes such as Cub Sport, Jack River, Mallrat, Middle Kids and Billie Eilish get added to the funky and broad mix that forms Sir Tilly’s inspiration. She loves song writing, it's mostly about all the stuff that goes on in her head. Which is often so fun to hear because she sure has got some crazy thoughts, which a lot of people can relate to.
