Bio

Melbourne's own SIYONI, formerly CHIEFS, is known for his symphony of whirring percussion, rippling bass and ringing synths. But buried deep within the haunting melodies, hypnotic synths and driving 808s exists a surfacing song writer.

He became known for a brand of hybrid Trap and R&B that blended dance floor sensibility with traditional soul grooves which were staples of his early creations. But for the past year the cleansing of his CHIEFS persona has opened up the possibility for him to be artistically uninhibited.

Now known as Siyoni and armed with a slew of new material, he is re-establishing his music with an integrity that comes from knowing himself.

I can't believe I'm yet to have reviewed this. This track is one of my favourites from last year. Hypnotic production and those vocals from NYNE are bloody catchy and so pristine. This track is killer!

Nyne’s Vocal is so recognizable on this joint and her cadence in the chorus is riveting. You’ve done well to just sorta get out the way you know? That’s the sign of a good producer

it's dramatic, patient and sinister. the whole song takes no prisoners.
