Bio
Formed in the spring of 2018, Slapjack's collective purpose is to create and perform music that allows everyone to get up and boogie regardless of what walk of life you're from. The band's music captures everything great about funk/soul music from the killer horn lines to the groovy bass lines and throws a dance/pop twist into it with incredible guitar hooks, rising synths and beautiful melodies delivered with such power it will make even your dad cry.
Slapjack are unlike any other band in the Australian Music scene at this time. The seven-piece dance funk band barely fit on stage, but when they do, they create an unforgettable experience.
Review
Majestic stuff! What a pleasure to listen to, cruises and flows so nicely. Would love to catch this live.
