Artist:Slick Monks

Hailing from the beachy southern suburbs of Perth, Jack Cooper, Jack Ward and Vincent Bochat make up the rock trio Slick Monks who started out together in the winter of 2014. The three began jamming in late 2013 to material that was written both before getting together and during their spontaneous jams. The band takes influence from all over the indie, rock, surf and psychedelic spectrum as their songs have an inclusion of angular riffs, catchy choruses and grungy rhythmic jams. After gigging regularly around the Perth region, in popular music venues and large house parties, Slick Monks were able to take out the Rockingham Battle of the Bands title and recently secured a slot at the cancelled 2016 Southbound Festival through Stagebound.
