Since 2007 the duo SMACKTOWN has been pioneering their earth rendering fusion between Hip-hop and Electro, winning the hearts and minds of the public with performances that can only be described as an all out assault on the senses. Their unique sound and revered stage-presence have consequently shaped them into an unstoppable force in Sydney’s music scene, resulting in their performing at a variety of events including: Festivals (We Love Sounds ); Festival after-parties (We Love Sounds, Park Life, Cream Fields, Field Day); Music awards (2009 AIMAS Awards – opening performance / after party); and some of the wildest nights the city has seen to date. The duo’s production and DJing skills combined with their renowned stage-presence has drawn the attention of some of our biggest home-grown talents, as well as a number of international heavy-weights.
