      NEW single - Sleeping Through Alarms available for free download at myspace.com/thesmallhours. The Small Hours could very well be the only Indie Pop band to come out of the Western Suburbs. Weekend trips to buy vinyl and late night experimenting finally paid off when these four school friends decided to get together and form a band. They embody the culture and history of their music, nodding at seminal local groups like Youth Group, Dappled Cities and classic international acts like Yo La Tengo. Tinkering away in bedrooms and garages, they’ve developed a sound that’s both immediately appealing and deeply crafted. It’s a dreamy sound, combining spacious guitars, washed out keyboards and eclectic beats, to create wistful waves of melody.
