Smoke Stack Rhino is a blues/grunge/groove trio from the Yarra Ranges in Victoria, Australia. The band has toured Australia multiple times, played 20+ festivals and counting, released their own beer and played with the likes of G Flip, KINGSWOOD, Harts, Bob Log III (USA), and 19-Twenty. After becoming a trio in late 2018, the band locked itself away and did nothing but jam and write music for 6 months. In July 2019 they returned to the stage with a sold-out gig at iconic Melbourne venue Cherry Bar, followed by the release of new single ‘Doom Boogie’. Showcasing the group’s reimagination as a three-piece, the track features brooding imagery, swirling harmonica and portentous riffs, drawing the attention of triple j (Roots N All) commercial and community radio stations, bloggers and Spotify playlisters.
