Bio

Regal Records is pleased to announce the release of "House on Four Wheels," the highly anticipated first single of multi award winning singer/songwriter, Snez ; from the forthcoming new album by the same name.

This enchanting songstress has a forte for describing the experiences of everyday life in a way that resonates with people, articulating moments of deep pain and pure joy. Coming from a Macedonian working-class family, where stories about hardship, romance, black magic, mysticism and work ethic have been passed down through generations, Snez subtly weaves these influences into her own stories and songs, and in the process creates tantalizingly personal and intimate performances on stage and in the studio.

“‘I started writing ‘House on four wheels’ whilst on tour in the remote areas of the Northern Territory. The red dirt and open roads are so inspiring for writing songs, you only have to open your eyes and look at the beautiful landscapes Australia has to offer” Snez comments. SNEZ delivers pop/folk music with an equal slice of depth and quirkiness. Her lyrics are inventive and fresh.

The multi-award winning musical combo of Stewart Peters and SNEZ, has been a match made in heaven. A veteran in the music industry, Stewart cut his production teeth with the Australian rock producing legends Vanda & Young (AC/DC, Rose tattoo, Flash n the Pan, Choirboys, The Angels and of course The Easybeats) at Alberts Productions during the '80s. Stewart has since moved into a more comfortable (for him) acoustic/adult pop genre, and has had continuing success as a writer/producer with various artists.

"... we made a conscious decision while we were recording 'House on Four Wheels' to keep it closer to our live performances" Stewart adds "But we couldn't help adding a bit of drums, percussion and few tasty bits here and there, it gets addictive!"
Recorded in the beautiful Blue Mountains, and set for worldwide release on 10TH May, House on four wheels is chock full of rootsy riffs and superb lyrics; makes you want to get out on the road yourself. Stay tuned for album release and Australian tour to follow.
