Hailing from the north coast of Wollongong, Sydney-based group Solid Effort have crafted a unique brand of "leisure-punk". Their sound is a cross between The Go Betweens and Minutemen, although heavily influenced by the emergence of the local scene headed up by acts like Shining Bird & The Pinheads.
