Bio

Formed in the midst of Brisbane’s indie pop epidemic of 2012, Soviet X-Ray Record Club (SXRC) took their cues from broader influences including dream-pop, post-punk, noise pop and dark wave minimal synth. The 4 piece's live shows have garnered a cult-like following, thanks in part to their explosive song deconstructions and abrasive noise excursions.

With multiple East coast tours and reputable supports from The Belligerents, Hinds, The Courtneys to The Chameleons, SXRC are currently on work on their 3rd release, and sophomore LP which will be released in early 2019

Dark, mysterious & moody post punk soundscapes throughout. This really connects with my darker emotional self.
