Bio

After being close mates for years and fellow musical companions, SOY established in late 2016. Since then they have evolved their sound into something unique, with their range of influences spanning from 60's psychedelia to high energy grooves as well as haunting dissonance.

SOY has supported and played alongside some quality Australian acts/lineups including: The Murlocs, ORB, Skegss, Hockey dad, Mountain Sounds festival (2017 & 2018) & Sweaty palms festival (2017).

In their most recent track 'Bellows', produced by the talented 'Simon Dobson', SOY have managed to encapsulate a much more established/disgusting sound which best highlights their energy when playing live.

Who knew that you guys trying on a shamanic psych rock sound would work so well. Lick a toad and get down to this.

This beats down the door. I feel like i've joined some kinda cult after listening to this (but a sick one, not a bad one). I love all the psychy movement throughout, those crunching riffs, those guitars you just want to bang your head to. Lots of great stuff here.
