Bio

Following on from first single Pub Lord off their debut EP, Sydney’s Northern Beaches sweethearts Space Monk are back with second single Fuzzy Heaven.

An ode to one’s pets past, present and future, Fuzzy Heaven reveals a softer side to Space Monk, furthering their surf rock/garage pop inspired sound, and touching on musical influences such as Mac DeMarco, Weezer and The Cure.

Frontman Lachlan Body’s heartfelt vocals express his emotional journey following the death of his childhood pets, and are complemented by the nostalgic, chorus drenched acoustic guitar, cathartic bass and loose drumming.

With Pub Lord receiving airplay on FBi radio, rising on the Triple J Unearthed rock charts and featured in blogs such as Lunchbox and Twenty Something Humans, Fuzzy Heaven builds on the year’s momentum as the band gears up for their debut EP release, coming in late 2017.

You know when you were a kid and you got one of those rubber tops that was like a ball sliced in half, and then you turned it inside out and put it down on the table and waited for it to pop up in the air? That's what's this song is. Heaps of anticipation building toward a delightful pop.

Sweet, blissed out indie rock to play by the ocean.

The name grabbed my attention but to be honest but the Deep Sea Arcade guitar sounds kept me around
