Bio

Spaceman are a six-piece lo-fi kraut/pop band from Fremantle, Western Australia. Originally called SpaceManAntics, they released their debut LP Puraede’s Parade and 7” Katzenjammer/Don’t Be The Last under this name. The band recently changed their name in 2015 to Spaceman to accompany their changing aesthetic and is made up of top-dog Broderick Madden-Scott (Brod) on guitar and vocals, Jack Gaby on guitar, Nic Perkins on bass, Benny Trouchet on synths, George Foster on drums and Jordan Shakespeare on percussion and samples.
Based on a DIY structure, Spaceman has undergone recording, producing, designing and promoting everything themselves since they started in 2012, giving them total autonomy. Their music features sound and styles
of specific genres found in Brod’s
insatiable appetite for boutique and rare things in life. Adopting a purist approach to writing and creating, the band has achieved a more wholesome sound and has blended elements from his interests to shape Spaceman’s psycho-tropical aesthetic.

Ripper tune, dudes. Plenty of room to play around and bliss out to with this one.
