Spinnabago are a group of five of the best and worst musicians from Hobart, Tasmania.

Self-labelled as psychedelic-pop, their music is influenced by the likes of The Byrds, The Flaming Lips and Connan Mockasin.

Their lyrics are inspired by experiences shared with odd characters they’ve encountered on their journey through this strange life.

At first I thought Timmy Lopez was my fave Spinnabago track. Then I flipped to Welcome Stranger. And now I'm well and truly flopping and saying that it's this one. I'm all about the hazy, wavy indie psych brew with a touch of lo-fi pop thrown in.
