Bio

'The Spitting Swallows' are a four piece rock/pop/punk outfit who have been elevating in the Australian music scene for several years and have undoubtedly earned their live performing stripes. After the success of their debut EP release, 'Gilligan’s Boots', the Latrobe Valley quartet has their sights on bigger and better ventures thanks to their independent debut album, 'Double Or Nothing', which was released on November 19, 2016.

With almost five years of toil in the local region (which has featured support slots for the likes of Kingswood, Bluejuice, Stonefield plus many more), the well-travelled bunch have spent a mammoth amount of time touring Victoria and beyond, leaving no pint full in their wake as they perform their eclectic breed of rock-meets-indie to packed out pubs, bars and festivals.

Their tour for 'Double or Nothing' saw the band perform at well established venues throughout Victoria such as The Loft and The Black Swan before heading along the east coast to play for their fans at Frankies Pizza in Sydney and The Shark Bar, Miami.

The band released a GoPro style music video providing some insight into the recording process for the first single 'Do Spiders Have Lungs?'. This was then followed by another music video shot and directed by Dillon Pearce for their lead single 'Caged'.

The boys are constantly booking gigs far and wide, so if you get the chance, do yourself a favour and check them out - you won't regret it.
