For the past year, The Spoon Collectors have left the stages of Sydney's grub pubs behind while they teamed with Parkes based producer Nacho Murchy (Sunfield Records) to record their debut album (TBA) set to release this September '13. A quaint country house 'Coobang' was a magical basecamp for The Spoon Collectors to explore inland NSW. The setting having a major influence on their previous club rock sounds. The upcoming independent release shows many influences tugging you through decades, genres, moods and colours while being stylistically original. "It's true we grow faster as people than how long it takes for us to lay a track" Says Matt Walter "We gave it all the time and breath it needed to happen."
