Bio

After a two year hiatus, SQUIDGENINI has returned with her much-anticipated single 'Trigger Me’, set for release on October 23rd. A solo force to be reckoned with in the realms of Pop and R&B, SQUIDGENINI quickly established herself as a premiere producer and vocalist in the Australian music scene in 2016. Her last three singles attracted attention and acclaim from the likes of Triple J, Purple Sneakers and The Ladies Network. After a big couple of years in Melbourne laying the groundwork for an alternative pop career and supporting acts such as Nai Palm, Kilo Kish, and ABRA, SQUIDGENINI returned to Brisbane to reconnect with family, the subtropics, and birth her long-awaited EP, due for release in early 2020.

Woozy and soulful with the hints of a house beat, this goes down like a top tier scotch out of an Art Deco glass. Classy and cultured but still leaves a little burn.

Such steeze. I love how you can delicately harmonize a definite F U. Hero.

This song could easily feel a little bitsy if each hook wasn't SO. DAMN. CATCHY.
