      About

      The St. Morris Sinners sole aim is to bring dirty blues back to the masses, make music slippery and to transform different genres into their own unique style. The St. Morris Sinners formed in late 2011, and soon made a name for them self around Adelaide as an exciting new live band. Drawing influence from: Nick Cave, MC5, The Gun Club, Beast of Bourbon and many more, the St. Morris Sinners have drawn on these bands to create a unique amalgam that is their own unique sound. Vocalist, Stephen “Slippery” Johnson’s lyrics tell character based stories of lost love, suicide and drug use, all with a hint of absurdity. Add to this the heavy, but intricate riffs of guitarist, Django Rowe. The solid funky bass lines of bassist, George Thalassoudis, and the driving beats of drummer, Elliot Zoerner; and you have the St Morris Sinners.
