    About

Products of Tasmania’s deep(ish) south, Stacy Whale present a mixture of washed out and atmospheric takes on classic guitar music, and hard-driving guitar music, inspired by British and Aussie indie-rock. Their music is filled with intricate three-part harmonies, emotive lyricism and mindless shredding. In recent years, Stacy Whale have played a number of note-worthy shows; including the festivals Party in the Paddock (2023), and Great Escape (2022, 2023). They have also supported acts as they journey to the Apple Isle, which most recently include Ruby Fields (2024), Teenage Dads, DICE, Dear Sunday, and Sly Withers; all of which were in 2023. This is has Stacy Whale become one of the first choices when it comes to support acts in Tasmania. On the horizon, Stacy Whale endeavour to release an EP, and tour the mainland upon its release.
