Bio

Static State is a four piece rock band from Melbourne.

Formed at the end of 2009, they decided to start writing music together after playing together for several years in various ways and sharing a love for music. In 2011, they played at the Hi-Fi bar in Melbourne opening for Skillet (US). They also played at Easterfest and completed a self-titled EP.

After a few quiet years finishing school, Static State are back in 2014, ready to bring some serious energy and fresh material.

Keep your eyes peeled for news on the soon-to-be-realeased acoustic EP!

I've seen these guys live, and they are a very musically tight, and entertaining group! They are right up there with some of the rock/ alternative artists of today, as far as song writing and performance! And they're only young - so they'll only get even better, as time goes by! Great track - great band!

Great acoustic work in the beginning...a beautiful mix of mood and technical skill on the guitar. I like the deep heartfelt emotion the song projects...and how it just grooves - when the whole band kick's in... And when the whole band kicks in, it's got a great sense of power, without moving away from it's emotive beginnings - great track!

Awesome alternative timing sections in the start and throughout the song! Especially seeing these guys are only young - as to pull off that kind of tight drumming/ guitar interaction is difficult for established musicians, let alone ones that are just starting out... And a great move from hard rock to ballad and then into anthem chorus - it really works as a whole song! Great work guys!
