Bio

Stockley introduces to the palate a familiar quality, the kind that might ask you to take a break from the hustle n’ bustle life. Following the release of ‘Fishing Trip’ (produced by Mark Myers - The Middle East), Stockley have recorded with Tom Garnett at REC Studios in Sydney. Their new single, 'Ground Up' will be released on April 20th with a string of headline shows to follow.
The steady grooves and subtle folk influences are complimented by the beautiful five-piece harmonies creating a rich musical texture allowing a fresh perspective focussed on hitting all the senses. Swayed by the family name they share, Stockley seek to appreciate the natural bonds formed when people collide.

This band's got an uncanny gift for seeking out the warmest corners of a song. They're like one of those robo vacuum cleaners whirring across your heart.

I absolutely loved Fishing trip and this has some of the same elements that I liked about it. Fishing Trip had a rawness this is a little less present on this one, but obviously the step forward is with more polished records so who can blame you, but please don't lose that spark
