Bio

STOKA is a bone-crunching mix of alt-rock, blues and psychedelic reggae.
Leaving audiences breathless with scintillating live performances, STOKA fuels their music with soaring melodies, ephemeral guitars and heart wrenching lyricism.
Since their conception in 2017, the lads from South East Melbourne have matured and grown into one of the hardest working bands in Melbourne. Not being content with touring Victoria with the likes of Boo Seeka and Caravana Sun, STOKA push the boundaries of what it means to be a band in the modern age.
Packing out their own mini festivals at The Evelyn, and releasing their debut EP left the boys wanting more, resulting in raging backyard gigs to more than 300 people and taking over venues such as 170 Russell and Howler to leave their fans screaming for more. 2019 sees STOKA taking advantage of the platform they have built, advocating strongly for the awareness of men’s mental health and the homeless of Melbourne.
With new singles on the way, the future looks bright and busy for STOKA,
And they’re just warming up.

Laid-back but soaring, like a business class flight.

There's something extremely heart warming about this one. I can't get it out of my head.

This band's living up to their influences, you can hear it for sure. That chorus packs a big punch.
