If ever there were a band who personified the exuberance, optimism and free-spirited nature of youth, it would be StormChasers. Listen up, Funk/Soul brothers and sisters; this 7-piece crew from Brisbane is here to make their way into your heart and provide many a soundtrack for your youth. Their particular brand of funk/soul/pop sets dance floors alight – horns, funky keyboard lines, electronic and big, bold beats, as well as huge, beautiful harmonies. It makes them a perfect complement to a night on the tiles. The crew - a collection of stupendously good-looking and great-sounding boys and girls, none older than 21, have been making their way into the minds and hearts of the Australian music-loving community. Supporting acts such as The Beards and The Good Ship in 2012, and touring the East-Coast of Australia and releasing new tunes in 2013, StormChasers are set to release their second EP early in 2014 on vinyl and Compact Disc.

Creepy harmonies over the hip hop beat is nice and unexpected.
Fantastic use of instrumentation keeps it very interesting.
So many styles in one song it's hard not to like, my personal fav is the creepy clown reggae.
Horns give the groove so much force and sway, I would not be able to stand still at a live show.
