Bio

Formed in 2017, Strangely Enough is the appellation of the Brisbane-based multi-instrumentalist and studio engineer, Greg Olley. Olley has pieced together this new alt-rock/ electronic group with some of Brisbane’s most formidable talent including Adam Brill of Faux Bandit on guitar and synth, Zac Sakrewski of Valtozash and Milton Man Gogh on bass, and Ben Shannon of Kodiak Empire on drums. With the mixture of flair from his fellow bandmates and Olley’s multi-faceted talents from the violin, to guitar to vocals, Strangely Enough create a powerful, dynamic and compelling live performance. Having made a strong impact on debut at the end of 2017, Strangely Enough are returning with their shape-shifting, electronic-rock form with the new, synth-heavy single ‘Graceville’ (Out June 8).

A cool Muse/Birds Of Tokyo vibe I reckon! Love those bold, distorted guitars. Sitting on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

I grew up in Graceville. This song reminds me of Walter Taylor's architecture - enigmatic, opulent, gothic, nocturnal and gorgeous.
