Suburban is genre-fluid. Homeless at age 16 and raised in an enormous-yet-turbulent variety of households, Suburban's upbringing lit a path to an appreciation of music regardless of style - whether it was J. Cole, Bring Me The Horizon or Ariana Grande - and forged a desire to fight the obligation for an artist to "find their sound". After touring the UK amidst releasing debut EP 'DENT', COVID-19 cancelled further international and festival plans, so Suburban hustled to work on a debut film about mental health entitled '[S]LEEP [A]LL [D]AY, [F]EAST [U]PON [N]IGHT' that premieres on a date TBC due to COVID lockdowns - along with an ensuing soundtrack the following day - that chronicles a year-long battle with bipolar and insomnia that ended in a hospital and mental ward stay.
