Bio

Suburban is East Coast Hip Hop-inspired, Hardcore-energised raw lyricism; a unique sound where structure is the enemy of flow and sleep is the cousin of death. Spawned from Sydney’s inner west and crafted from a lifetime of movement, the words and sounds are fuelled by instability and an attitude of never settling.

It’s hip hop. It’s heavy. It’s breakbeats. It’s inspired by movies like Training Day and Juice. It’s filled with honesty and struggle. It’s delivered with anger and passion.

Suburban’s Kick… Scream mixtape is currently in production, dropping in the first half of 2018.

The first single It’s Not What You Know, It’s What You Can Prove is out now on Spotify, Soundcloud, Triple J Unearthed and all the usual spots online.

This thoroughly messed me up upon first listen and then doubly so when I realized that this is a ONE MAN BAND.
